June 15th sees the return of Norfolk author Phyllida Scrivens. When the good doctors of Great Britain,
Europe and the World descended upon Norwich in August 1874, the city welcomed their status, knowledge and wealth with open arms. Phyllida will invite you to attend their grand dinner and meet some of the notable guests.
Tickets for this event will be available on the door on the evening, priced at £5 which includes light refreshments.
On September 21st, Paddy Anstey will give a presentation on the Mid Norfolk Railway.
The presentations start at 7 pm and are followed by refreshments which are included in the £5 ticket price. Tickets are available at the library on the evenings.
The group will also be organising a quiz on October 28th and a children’s party on December 2nd. Venues for these two events are still to be decided.
