1940s Weekend

Its the 1940s Weekend on the Mid-Norfolk Railway on August 6th and 7th 2022. Take the the train from  Wymondham to Dereham, with exhibits at Yaxham and Hardingham stations along the line. Experience the darkest days of the war and memories of the brightest victory in history.

Be prepared for the live-fire battle re-enactments at the Dereham station. Take time to meet and ask questions of those in period dress, look at the many exhibits and stalls, both at Wymondham and Dereham and you could even come dressed in your own best war-era civvies outfit and feel like you’ve travelled in time.​​​
