Sophie’s 24-Hour On-Air Challenge – Mission Accomplished!

Sophie took on on her craziest South Norfolk Radio challenge yet over the weekend of 20th and 21st September!  She began broadcasting live from the South Norfolk Radio Studio at midday on Saturday 20th and sucessfully made it right through until 12 midday on Sunday – that’s 24 straight hours of live radio presenting , raising funds for South Norfolk Radio!

Sophie was  joined by some of her fellow SNR presenters along the way and there were some on air games and challenges , together with loads of good music from  across the genres and from across the decades. And of course there was space for some listener requests and dedications too.

“I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported me through the challenge, tuned in, messaged me (some in the middle of the night!) and to my fellow presenters who came along to encourage me” said Sophie. “We made it guys!”

Sophie raised over £400 for the station through the 24-hour fundraiser and its still not too late to make a contribution if you’re able to!
