Fred Setters

“My love affair with radio first began when I was 8 years old and listening to Radio Luxembourg during warm summer evenings back in 1974” explains Fred. “And that love affair continues to this day!”

“One of the greatest privileges, when presenting a radio show, is the connection we have with our listeners”  says Fred.  “Sometimes during a show, when I’m sharing my musical memories, I’m often struck by how those memories resonate with the listener too and for me that’s very special.”

“My radio career started out  when I became a volunteer presenter in Hospital Radio back in 2012 and I’ve been producing my own shows for other radio stations since 2016 – I’m really proud to now be a
part of the presenting team at SNR and hope that you enjoy sharing some musical memories with me on The Rock Solid Radio Show.”
