The Wymondham Heritage Museum has been set up by Wymondham Heritage Society to keep the history of Wymondham and its people alive.

The museum is packed full of exhibits and displays that tell the story of the people of Wymondham and the surrounding area.

Its still the half term holidays so its still FREE admission for children.
So if you need something different to entertain them , pop down and see us at the Museum.

We have lots that they can try out including our telephone switchboard, archaeological dig, market stall., dungeon activity game, books to read and colour.
All this plus looking back at 150 years of Browick Road School. seeing what a brush factory looked like, Victorian and 1930s shops, old ways of farming and so much more!

Also a why not enjoy a free glass of squash in the tearoom?

Pop in and see usĀ  open 10am to 4pm on Saturday and on Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.

The eclectic collection is housed in The Bridewell, a nationally important building that redefined how prisoners should be incarcerated. Visitors can also step into a recreated dungeon in the basement to see what life was like for a prisoner 200 years ago.

Our exhibits are displayed in the rooms once occupied by the prison, courthouse and police station. They are regularly changed to make each time you visit as interesting and insightful as the first.

Open Daily until Sunday 8th November
