We’re bringing you some special shows to celebrate the New Year with us here on South Norfolk Radio.
Mark Stafford is on air ar 5.00pm on New Year’s Eve with his 25th annual ‘Rock and Roll Heaven’ show, looking back briefly over the news headlines of the year but focussing mainly on marking the passing of some of the music artists that we’ve lost over the past twelve months. You can catch Mark’s show again at 1.00pm on New Years Day.
In a specially extended ‘Back in the Day Music Mix’ from 8.00pm, regular Friday night host David B firstly brings you two hours of 70s Soul and Disco to get the party started on New Years Eve, and then after 10.00pm, moves forward to the 80s and 90s to take you through to 2022.
At 10.00pm on New Years Day (that’s Saturday if you’ve got confused!) DJ Angel has an extended edition of ‘The Drum and Bass Show’ and on Sunday (2nd January), David Mann presents a New Year’s themed ‘Sounds Easy’ at 11.00am (repeated at 11.00pm) while DJ Mike, our man ‘deep in the heart of Texas’, brings us the Texas Dancehall Charts for 2021 in ‘Dance Time in Texas’ at 9.00pm.
Happy New Year from the whole volunteer team at South Norfolk Radio!
