South Norfolk Radio South Norfolk Radio
Its the sixth annual Local Radio Day on Friday, and South Norfolk Radio is joining with hundreds of other Community Stations across the country, alongside local BBC and commercial stations, to celebrate the unique relationship betweeen local broadcasters and you – our local listeners!
The theme this year is ‘Love Your Place’ and we want to hear about *your* favourite places – and see them too if you can send us a picture.
Whether its supporting local businesses when you buy a pint or go out for a meal, listening to your local radio station to catch the latest news and weather and enjoy the music, kicking off your shoes and relaxing on the sofa at home with family and friends, maybe being more active and walking, running or cycling to your favourite places through our wonderful countryside, simply relaxing with a good book, taking up one of the current ‘Fiver Fest’ offers at the many independant businesses in Wymondham, perhaps visiting live theatre or dipping into the popcorn as you watch the latest blockbuster at the cinema or maybe its playing sports, watching your favourite team or having a workout at the gym – wherever you feel *you* belong in a place you love, we want to know about it!
Why not join us in celebrating the place you love and post on our social media directly or send us a picture – all within normal social media guidelines of course – with a brief word of explanation, just saying where it is and why you love it – and don’t forget to include your name too if youre emailing us a picture.
We’ll publish a selection on our social media celebratiing Local Radio Day this Friday. Its not a contest, we just want to hear about the places you love!
You can send your pictures and comments to david@snradio.uk or of course you can reply directly on our social media posts.
Love South Norfolk – Love South Norfolk Radio.
