New Season’s Shows on SNR – Welcome Emma and Peter!

As we head into Autumn, we’re pleased to warmly welcome two highly-experienced radio professionals to the South Norfolk airwaves, bringing us three shows new to the station.

The first show is new to everyone really as presenter, music promoter and author Emma Scott brings us The Pluggin’ Baby Radio Show which only took to the airwaves for the first time last month. Seasoned radio professional Emma has hosted shows for Chiltern, Kerrang! and Heart Radio amongst many others and she’s now presenting her own production featuring the most exciting independent talent from her radio plugging business, Pluggin’ Baby, which she has been running since 2013. The show, which she presents from her own Cambridgeshire home studio, will also play established bands who have fired up Emma’s musical passion since she started her radio career back in 1988 and airs on SNR at Midday on Tuesdays , with a repeat on Sundays at 16.00.

And another long-experienced radio expert,  Peter Fairhead brings us two shows new to SNR, The Country Show on Tuesdays at 18.00 and Classic Gold & Guilty Pleasures at Midday on Fridays. Peter’s radio career has taken him from a being a young teenage volunteer at Chelmsford Hospital Radio through BBC Radio Medway, Pennine Radio, KCFM in Hull and many, many more over the years, and he’s also been a voiceover artist, music and line dancing event promoter, country music journalist and an events DJ.
