The Eurovision Show with Simon Harding

The start of  Eurovision Week 2026 on South Norfolk Radio is marked by the return – for one night only – of Simon Harding with The Eurovision Show.

Experienced broadcaster Simon presented the 250th – and final – edition of his regular weekly Eurovision Show here on South Norfolk Radio back in 2024. New challenges and commitments made further regular programmes impossible for him.

But Simon hasn’t completely given up on his ‘guilty pleasure’, The Eurovision Song Contest, and he returns to the airwaves to host this one-off special ahead of the staging of the 70th edition of the Contest in Vienna, Austria from May 12th to 16th.

At 8.00pm on Monday night 11th May,  just ahead of the tv broadcast  of Semi Final One on Tuesday 12th, Simon hosts a three-hour special, showcasing ALL the of songs in contention this year. Simon, along with his panel of Eurovision ‘superfans’, with be airing their opinions on the songs ahead of our first look at the live TV performances on Tuesday night.

David Mann will continue to feature some of the songs during SNR’s regular #BreakfastBriefing on weekday mornings from 8.00am and then on Saturday morning, May 16th, in a specially extended programnme, David will present SNR’s annual #Eurovision Breakfast Briefing with the latest news from Vienna, and a full recap of all the songs that remain in the running after the ten eliminations in the Semi Finals.
