Wymondham Foodbank – Every Tuesday and Saturday

302 302 people viewed this event.

We open on Tuesday and Saturday mornings 11am-1pm. During the last few weeks  of 2022 we served around 50-60 households each session. That’s about 150-160 adults and children per week. After two sessions our tables are empty.
All food donations need to be within the best-before date and in unopened or undamaged packaging.
We do not accept fresh meat, fish, poultry, nuts, sugar, fresh dairy products or frozen products from private donors.
Here is a list of in-demand food. If you can drop off a few tins or packs of food we would be grateful- as will those who will benefit from your kindness.
Tinned meat.
Tinned fish.
Long life milk.
Pasta sauce.
Tinned soup- especially Big Soup.
Tinned rice or custard.
Tinned fruit.
Packers of microwave rice and pulses.
Almond milk.
Oat milk.
Washing up liquid.
Toilet roll.
Laundry detergent. (Pods that can be shared).
Shampoo and conditioner.
Shower gel.
Snack bars for children and the young at heart.
We supplement these items with fresh fruit, veg and bread that are donated by our excellent local stores Co-op in Market Place✨♥️, Lidl ✨❤️and Waitrose✨♥️.
Demand is growing. We see new people every day we are open.
Food donations can be dropped off at Wymondham RC Church, 1 Norwich Road NR18 0QE. We have a donation bin in the entrance area as you enter the main doors of the Church. Or you can drop off in person to our lovely volunteers Monday & Friday 2pm-4pm or Saturday & Tuesday 9.30am-12.30pm. 🕊️
