As the year turns, DJ Mark Stafford returns to South Norfolk Radio with the 2022 edition of ‘Rock and Roll Heaven’.
Mark, a regular broadcaster whose programmes have been heard on more than 200 radio stations across the world, returns to South Norfolk Radio with his 26th annual year-end edition of ‘Rock and Roll Heaven’. “The very first programme was broadcast at the end of December 1997 on EKR – European Klassik Rock, which was broadcasting across Europe on the Astra satellite back in those days” says Mark. “The world of broadcasting is a very different place indeed now, but I’m happy that the 26th annual edition of the show will be aired this year.”
Across a three-hour programme, Mark looks back over some of the major news headlines of the past twelve months and reflects on the careers and legacies of some of the music artists who have sadly left us during the year.
You can listen to this year’s ‘Rock and Roll Heaven’ on South Norfolk Radio on New Year’s Eve (Saturday) at 1.00pm with a repeat at 9.00am on New Year’s Bank Holiday Monday, January 2nd 2023.
The regular team at SNR wish Mark a very Happy New Year and a Happy 26th Show Anniversary too!
